About This Project
Conducted comprehensive needs assessment research across multiple communities.
The Challenge
The client was planning a major humanitarian intervention in a region affected by both conflict and climate change. They needed comprehensive, accurate data on community needs, vulnerabilities, and existing capacities to design appropriate and effective programming.
Our Solution
We designed and implemented a mixed-methods needs assessment that combined household surveys, focus group discussions, key informant interviews, and secondary data analysis. Our team trained local researchers, managed data collection across 32 communities, and conducted rigorous analysis to identify priority needs and intervention opportunities.

Collected data from 2,400 households across 32 communities
Identified critical gaps in health, water, and livelihood services
Mapped community resources and resilience mechanisms
Provided evidence-based recommendations that shaped $15M in programming
Developed a vulnerability index to prioritize assistance to most affected populations
